I want to use SN to CTB
About 15 years ago my appendix burst and due to the infection it had caused, part of my colon and intestines (not sure if large or small intestines) were removed,
Also I have an eating disorder, I have been on the "One Meal a Day" diet for the past 5 years which is a type of intermittent fasting that restricts calorie consumption,
Would the surgery I had and the eating disorder affect the SN absorption?
Does it mean SN might not work on me?
Any help appreciated, thanks

In this case I would not use SN.
not sure if large or small intestines
It would be important to know. Because only then it´s possible to assess for sure whether the absorption is limited.

This is just my personal opinion. You act on your own responsibility.

Thank you for your reply, if you can please clarify, are you saying SN can be used as long as I have small intestines (from my understanding SN needs to reach the small intestine for it to work)?

I believe worst case scenario is that you will throw up. As far as I know there's never been any case of permanent injuries or disabilities after a failed sn ctb. Is one of the benefits of this method.

Without knowing your exact health condition especially concerning your small intestine, it´s almost impossible to say yes or no.

In general, what you eat, drink or ingest must reach the small intestine to be absorbed and metabolized.
I hope this general information will help you decide whether to use this method or not.

I don´t agree.
