I was reading C.L's posts and it seems like, because I'm not ready right now, I would have to wait for the weather to be reliably good with this method? The rain seemed to be a major obstacle. I am considering all methods at the moment, but given the PPH includes this, I think it's likely to be more peaceful than some other methods...
Whether to wait until summer or not depends mainly on where you live because the closer you live to the equator the hotter are summers and charcoal produces additional heat that can make the experience uncomfortably hot. Camping when it's raining is ofc also unplesant.

I haven't finished reading the megathread, but the main issue I'm seeing first off is finding a tent that is a small, enclosed space but also won't melt and also if it is a small space, not burning yourself while doing this method.
