Would I go to jail if I order N online in Canada?

So, um… the question in the title. A quick look on deep web black markets seems to reveal a lot of people who are selling N, among other things. However I am not sure how much trouble I would be in if I get caught trying to purchase N, and I kind of dislike the idea of being stuck in a cell… Judging by the amount of drugs that these markets also peddle (cocaine, heroin, you get the idea), I have the feeling that their products are probably not very legal. So… how fricked would I be from a legal standpoint if I am caught trying to acquire N?

Welp, thank you for the information… now to figure out if I want to risk being sent to jail… would you happen to know what the punishment for cyanide purchase/possession is?

To be honest, my concern is that because it is a black market, they could be selling products that are not pure because they are not regulated. I am considering to buy sodium nitrite myself.

According to Exit International, there is currently no known reliable source for N.

There is apparently a possible source as of the most recent information, but so far considered unreliable as one order was fulfilled while others were not.

Also, as of 2021, there is a global shortage of veterinary N.

I imagine if customs catches it, they'll just seize it and send you a letter about it and likely destroy the package. Police are very unlikely to come and arrest you unless if you order in massive bulk (like 100g+) under suspicion that you're also a drug dealer.
