i intend to ctb by SN. I've seen benzos recommended but don't have script. What I do have is a stockpile of Zoloft pills. currently I take 50mg but I have easily over 2000mg in extra pills. is there a way -- whether immediately or over the course of a few we weeks -- that I could take enough to be dramatically woozy/calm?

No. At least in my experience i never got any effect like that, and overdosing will just make you very uncomfortable

No, it won't. Zoloft works over time as it needs to build up in the system for the benefits to be felt (with most seeing most improvement after 4-6 weeks). High doses of it will not give you any benefit and just end up causing side effects like nausea, dizziness, insomnia, dry mouth, and increased anxiety. In more severe instances, excessive amounts may result in serotonin syndrome with symptoms like confusion, rapid heart rate, high blood pressure, and muscle rigidity. Would not suggest taking a higher dose of Zoloft thinking it would lead to some sort of calmness like benzos can. Would not suggest.

I am so sorry you are in so much suffering and I hope with whatever you decide that you get peace & serenity.

It's an antidepressant. There are drugs specifically made for anxiety. Research those drugs and their side effects and what may apply to you better.

No, it won't, you may even be risking serotonin syndrome.
