• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Have you ever been working out for a longer period of time? Did it help you feel any better and look and live healthier? I once thought it would help to think clearly but it just crashed me down alongside with everything else I tried to avoid mentally colapsing couple if months ago. I still think about the time when everything was somehow ok and I still wonder what could've been done different

Up until around 2 months ago I was in the gym 5 days a week doing weights, cardio and flexibility training.
I was also on the omad diet and had virtually zero body fat.
All it did for me was to give a bit more physical energy, yet did nothing to ease my depression.
I've not worked out whatsoever in these 2 months, yet I'm not as anxious, because I used to over train a lot which causes the release of stress hormones, I also sleep better.

I'd say exercise certainly helps my state of mind- although- ironically- I have to be in a reasonably good state of mind to do it in the first place- seeing as I despise it. It doesn't fix everything though- in my experience anyway. Depends on what your goals are really. If you're looking to become an athlete- or- if your looks are terribly important to you- it's likely to bring you more rewards than if you're trying to do it alongside other things you wish to achieve in life. In that case- it just becomes an another anoying 'need' you have to satisfy in order to function the best you can as a human. That's my experience anyhow.

As I see it now, I wanted too many things in a short span of time while having an energy if an old man. I never accepted myself after psychiatric neuroleptic treatment and I ignored it, improvised like I could work, hang out and work out all the time. I desperately needed rest for years but I never allowed it to myself cause I had extreme depressive and suicidal thoughts if I was even slightly inactive. I tried to outrun the depression, but it caught me, it will always catch me. I wish I killed myself when I first realised there was basically no hope.
