So I've been practicing partial hanging for a little while now, but I haven't got it right UNTIL now! I tied a bathrobe rope around the middle of my neck with the knot at the back, and for the anchor I used the metal pole in my wardrobe. I kneeled down into the slipknot with my whole bodyweight, and after about 10 seconds my vision became very blurry and I could feel myself passing out, though I stopped myself just before that happened.

Afterwards I was smiling and giggling, I have never felt this kind of control before.. control over whether I live or die. All that's left is to find a suitable day to do it, where I am completely alone for at least 1 hour.

I wish I was able to find my sweet spot and go unconscious too.

Wish you the best of luck and a peaceful journey.

I also wish you a comfortable hanging, when it's your time.

I've been practicing partial and still haven't got it right - I've only experienced the exploding head feeling so far.. Gonna to try and get it right this weekend so I can CTB, if I fail then maybe I'll go by charcoal.. I really don't want to be here by the end of the week

It's called charcoal burning suicide. Essentially you burn charcoal briquettes in a small, enclosed space like a tent, car, small bedroom, bathroom etc. and as the coals are burning, they produce high amounts of carbon monoxide. It causes a lot of accidental deaths each year from people mistakenly bringing the coals (usually from a barbecue) inside their home or tent and they don't know the carbon monoxide is building up and threatening their life. Intentional suicides by this method is pretty popular in Asia, but not widely known or reported about in Europe or the Americas much.

There was a South Korean man that was briefly a member of this forum a month or two back that used this method. A very sad story, his wife basically left him and they seemed like such a cute couple. Love is dead.

Shame I was too late to meet him. I feel as though I would've understood his pressures and struggles a lot, if not personally then at least from a cultural perspective. I've been learning about and studying Korean since 2012, and before COVID I was at university on a major focusing on Korean language, culture and history. The rates of depression and suicide in SK are astronomical. Wherever he is now, I hope he found the peace he needed

I've heard they work and study twice as hard as people in the west, the pressure that makes people kill themselves in the short term will lead to economic domination later on (meaning reduced suicide rates). I'd prefer to live in a harsher environment with promise and future rather than having it good in the moment but knowing that everything will be taken away.

Hearing this from the op gives me encouragement as it may be my method of choice when the time comes. Sounds like you have that feeling of control. Safe travels

FUN FACT

death by partial hanging is literally the same mechanism as death by a stroke.

there are 2 main types of strokes ->
- bleeding in brain (eg caused if blood vessel in brain tears)
- lack of blood in brain (eg blood vessel clotting prevents blood flow)

with partial hanging you try to prevent blood from flowing into your brain causing death of brain cells which leads to ctb; literally same mechanism as stroke described above

Super glad you found the correct technique. I think the worst thing for suicidal people is not having a way out when life really kicks them to the ground. I myself will be drinking SN with pills. I want to go this year. Perhaps near Christmas time.
