As per my reply to my previous post, I mentioned that I experienced somewhat of a tragedy last night whilst at work.
The tragedy being, that one of my very close work friends suffered a seizure right in front of my eyes. I hadn't seen him all night & the one moment I went in to say hello, that's when it struck. I'm struggling to come to grips with it & it's been quite a traumatic experience for me, potentially mentally scarring.
Now I'm fairly young, so I'm not 'experienced' in witnessing things like this hence my perhaps exaggerated reaction. My question & point of this post is not to only vent my feelings but also to find out opinions on whether witnessing something of a similar nature could or has changed your mind in the effort to CTB.
For me it's almost put things into perspective, like a shock tactic. I feel a great deal of sadness from the event & it makes me think is that what it's like?
I'm hoping that this is a temporary feeling as I really don't want to be persuaded in the other direction, I still very much want to follow through with my plans.
