I've tried full suspension last week. But unfortunately the ligature didn't support my weight and the rope snapped. Yes, I'm overweight. I'm 90kg 173cm height. The rope I'm using is a nylon rope. Since I'm a poor bloke I can't afford another rope and so I'll have to do with what I have. After reading the hanging thread which recommended partial hanging (https://sanctioned-suicide.net/threads/how-to-hang-yourself.1183/), I've decided to go with that route. The support I am using is strong. I am using a slipknot with the knot at the nape of the neck.
To test how I would feel, I got into position and leaned forward. I immediately felt blood rushing into my head and the pressure build up. I held that position for about 25 seconds. I stood up once I had the feeling that my head would burst with the pressure. According to the guide, it should've taken only 15 seconds tops for me to lose consciousness, but it didn't. What am I doing wrong? Even in this video, the girl loses her consciousness in 10 seconds (). Is it because my neck is too thick (which I don't think is the case) and I'm compressing only the jugular vein and not the carotid artery. I need help from someone. Please. I can't miss the next bus.
