In my case, my work tools are my most valued (and expensive) possessions. I can hardly see myself selling them. But If I leave it to my relatives to deal with they might be dupped into selling them at a much lower price than they're worth or even giving them away (I also have electronic parts that are worth a sizable amount). And I know my mom could use the money.

There's not a lot to get rid of! The most valuable thing I have is my laptop. Everything else is old and junky. I've never been one to accumulate a lot stuff just in case something happened, like I suffered a life ending injury such as a dislocated neck, which has almost happened. Someone can use the laptop, but the rest can go into the garbage.

Honestly, no, because I don't know if I'll end up waking up in a hospital the next day. After a failed attempt, I know for sure I'd probably want to wait a while before trying again. I want to format my Sd cards but I don't even know if I can do that, I'll probably just end up encrypting them instead.

Most of the stuff I have is just "stuff". I have some kind of cool memorabilia but there's not really anyone for it to go to, there are only two relatives it might be worth going to but I don't exactly see that happening.

I won't be doing. When my dad died, sorting through his house kept me busy and helped with grieving. I'd probably drop sneaky hints about how expensive they are then after you have ctb it will ring a bell

Most of my possessions aren't valuable but I have a few items that are worth a lot. If I took the time to sell them I could probably get a few thousand dollars. I don't have to motivation to go through my possessions, sort them, sell them, donate them etc. Part of me just wants to hire people to come to my room and put everything in trash bags and haul them out so my family doesn't have to deal with them after I die.

It may sound stupid, but the other day I gave to my brother my most precious MTG cards. We used to play a lot... I stopped a while ago, but he's still into it (he always watches videos on yt and plays a lot of tournaments). I hope that they made him happy, especially since most of the times I acted like a total a-hole towards him and I regret it.
I wonder what he would think of me if I were to die.

My only concern would be that my family might inherit my stuff (not that I have much value saved). I hate my family so much and I would be very bothered by the thought that they would get their sleazy hands on my hard earned things. Anyone but them.
I have too little now to make a will, but if I ever get more $, I will probably leave everything to some cause helping children.

I don't have much left, but for the essentials that I do, I need to keep around in case I fail/change my mind/never get around to it, as I'd really be in a tit if I survived and didn't even have those. I imagine this is a very common sentiment.

Already have done , loft junk all gone (apart from my car spares )
fish tank and 3 hi-fi`s gone
All bedroom tv`s gone
3 bedroom wardrobes full clothes (20 bin bags ) whittled down to one small wardrobe
pictures off walls gone
All my paperwork , old photos , games consoles , cameras , old phones , books , gadgets , extra kitchen pots pans coffee maker etc etc all binned .
Just waiting for a friend to fit me in to do some no structural welding on my cars front sils ,as the drain holes were blocked and rotted the corners off so i can sell the car for top ££

I`ve done all the little niggles in my house and fully decorated it inside and out making it natural and minimalist , even making a new fence so i can get top price for it and then sell and dump what's left and buy a camper and disappear until my cash has ran out and then as far away as i can get ctb in it .

I plan on emptying my bank account, and the money I have on me, and leaving it to my mother. My vehicle will go to my sister, and my laptop will go to my nephew. Those are the only things I have that are valuable.

I haven't got that much really, just my laptop that's worth anything. Sometimes think about donating everything to charity, but that would arouse suspicion with my partner. So I guess people can just fight over it all when I'm dead lol.

Oldies are the best , i have xbox one x and 70 games , xbox 360 with 66 games and a Gamecube with 50 games ,
I`ve just sold my N64 , Atari Jaguar and Atari lynx collection
I think the Xbox one x is absolute rubbish its just a cash cow beautiful graphics do not make a game enjoyable especialy when you have to keep paying for extras .
I`m going to sell it soon , the gamecube is far superior and anyone who thinks otherwise has fallen into the " i must have the latests "brain washing

The gamecubes a great machine but I can't play it anymore. It's not the nostalgia I'm looking for

My shit started when it was current and I was already nostalgic for the SNES. Now it's been longer since the mid noughties than the SNES was in the mid noughties. The gamecube is the SNES to a generation that's now the age I was then. I don't know where the time went, it feels like none of it ever happened and I should still be in 2005 (hence the name). It's a nightmare, SNES is my only escape because it still takes me back to a happy time before all that

I'm packing, cleaning, organizing, but not getting rid of anything important. I can't stand the thought of failing/changing plans at the last minute and having it all gone forever. But I want to make it all as easy as possible to deal with for whoever has to. Most likely my best friend...

All digital stuff is being remotely backed up and deleted. I'm sorting things into boxes for certain people, who will know their value. Maybe it's a stalling tactic, but I promised myself I'd do all this first.

Deciding who gets what is such a sad process for me. It's taking longer and is much more emotional than I'd anticipated. I hope they realize how much thought went into it all.

No, there is really no point to getting rid of my stuff other than to arouse suspicion that I may be preparing to leave this world soon. It is really not of my concern who gets my things, as the only thing I want is to ctb ASAP.

I don't care what's left in my room, doesn't matter. I'm emptying my bank account by spending every last cent on experiences. Not leaving any money behind for anyone, not even my dad, don't really care. Just going to live my life before i CTB next year December.

Nope, it's just stuff and I can't take it with me. Don't care about sorting it, giving it away, or selling it. Let the living sort it out after I'm gone. I'm sure it'll go to use somewhere.

I plan on emptying the bank account of my brother which has been commiting fraud for over 8 years. And then give a party with my ex-con friend, lots of drugs and girls, so when depression hits me the next morning, I mean, I will have the Glock option or the Twenty-seventh stores building option.

Have you made any posts of your reasons and where you are at in life? Interested to hear your story, seems you have things pretty well together from having an apartment, fully furnished with game consoles and such, maybe if it's work related or family related then that's understandable I guess. Just curious is all how you came to be in this position.
