Help Will this work? (Night-night method)

I'm wondering if this will work for the night-night method or not. I'm not sure exactly what "folded up socks" as described as an alternative for cornhole bags specifically means, so I was hoping for advice on this. Currently this is what I plan on using:

I think the socks are too thin maybe? try using longer socks and tying them into knots or rolling them into each other

We tried to use socks against the carotid arteries during a partial hang. They didn't help, they weren't solid enough. Next time we're going to use socks/bags filled with rice and duct tape.

Night-Night is not my method as it doesn't have as much success reports as partial hanging. But this guy shows the folded up socks with pictures
