Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I recently got a job at the bar, but I always get so tired during and after work. I quit two other jobs becouse they were too hard on me, this one seems a bit less stressful, but still a bit straining. Will I get into the job ethic? Or will I always feel tired no matter what job I take on?

I am not a doctor, so everything below is just my experience, not medical advice.

Feeling tired can have a lot of causes, with just as many possible solutions. If you're working nights, Vitamin D deficiency may be a factor. Sleep hygiene can really make a difference, too. If your employer offers a health plan, or you have coverage from other sources, a chemical imbalance can be checked for, as well. Anemia is commonly overlooked or mistaken for fatigue.

There is a lot of material available in the link above, with more links (be advised that there are spoilers inside the spoiler, too)

I hope you find something that helps you pinpoint a cause and solutions.

I was a bartender for 6 years. Tired is just the way it is in gastronomy. After I left that job, started working in the daylight, outside, I started feeling better (still tired, but not every single moment). I loved being a bartender - in my mind I still am (once you're a bartender, you stay bartender forever :b), but it cost me too much. Late night work, alcohol and cigarettes everywhere, drunk people, lots of noise... tiredness is just a part of it all.

I did a lot of retail work initially and I still remember how painful it was initially to be standing up all day. I think that gets slightly better, as our muscles grow stronger. Also- as other people are saying- I expect your body will get more used to the working late schedule. Work is tiring though.

I think it's just healing before you finally get there. Medications are a good bet too. But sadly, I think we will always be broken. The difference is that healing helps to make it not consume you.
