• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I need an expert opinion on this.

I have a pull-up bar and climbing sling (carrying capacity almost 2 tons). My plan is to wrap the sling around the main bar several times, as shown in the first picture, until the loose end is high enough. Then I would wrap the loose end around my neck as shown in the 2nd pic. If I wrap it high enough only my feet would touch the ground. Alternatively, I could buy a pull-up bar with a bar that goes even higher.

Would this work? I tested the whole thing by lowering myself into the position shown in the second picture and holding on to the bar with my hands. I immediately felt the blood in my head start to build up. But I could still breathe to some extent. I didn't dare try to let go completely with my hands, as I didn't know what would happen to the cervical vertebrae if the entire body weight was carried by it.

Tips welcome.

I am far from an expert however one piece of advice I would give you is to hold the bar and wiggle on it. Most people start seizing as they suffocate which means you are going to be flopping around while hanging. You need to make sure you cannot wiggle the bar off the door frame.

Blood building up in your head can work but is not ideal. You are stopping the blood from leaving your head when you want to stop the blood from getting INTO your head. You will probably die either way (again, not an expert) but you are going to quickly get a crushing headache before you pass out. You may want to experiment with the strap in different places to see if you can hit the right spot. You should get light-headed with little to no "build up" feeling. I practiced this by flinging my rope over the bar and just pulling on the loose end (DO NOT TIE IT) until it gets tight enough. Hopefully that makes sense?

I'd recommend just buying a good rope and tying a proper knot so you can ensure the attempt is 100% successful, survival instinct is a bitch and a failed hanging can cause serious issues if you survive. On top of that a hanging that doesn't break your neck can cause panic and generally, it won't be a peaceful way to go (if you don't survive) which is something you deserve. You deserve to be comfortable and calm when you slip away to the better place.

I'm not an expert by any means but I'm using logic and compassion, be uber prepared
