It's very individual. I overdosed on 10ml of N and was taken to the hospital. The police never came to confiscate the rest of my N. It's still in my house

Would depend heavily on country wouldn't it?
Here in the UK, I'm guessing almost certainly. Check your country's legal status on it.

Well, it depends.
The most common thing is for EMS to bag whatever is openly visible and take to the ER so they can figure out what you took and what antidote to give/how to treat.

Unless your place appears like a drug smuggling base camp they won't come and search.
