• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

The last thread I saw regarding butane as a method for CTB was during august, and even then the details were a bit vague so I'm gonna try asking again.

I'd love to know if it's even viable or if the chance of it failing are way to high to even be considered as a proper method? In theory it should be pretty effective as butane is highly corrosive, but I'm not really sure.

I was either thinking of this or the night-night method

The death of inmates in prison through butane gas inhaled directly from small cooking cylinders is very common.
Methane and butane knock out hemoglobin, responsible for transporting oxygen to the tissues. At the beginning there is dizziness, the brain lacks oxygen, then euphoria sets in, but then the intoxication of the organism begins. And the damage can be serious. The intoxication is multi-organ, can be irreversible and therefore even lead to death.

It's possible I already asked but I don't remember : is it peaceful die or are there sufferings ?

I didn't know people can get high from it.

I wonder how painful it is as one goes from this.

The topic has been discussed for many years. It has been proposed to provide prisoners with electric induction stoves, but the costs of doing so are too high. So it continues to be more convenient to use butane cans. Yes, it's a peaceful death. They don't even realize. They aspire to get high and then death comes for some. Others fall asleep without dying.

Ok, then it's possible to fall unconscious without dying and next have serious damages into your body. That is the main problem. What a pity !

I think Aaron Carter was inhaling this, amongst other narcotics……and drowned in the bathtub 🛁

I have never heard of any particular damage to the body. Usually you either die or survive. It is true that potentially all asphyxias can lead to damage, even SN.

Butane is not corrosive. It's just an asphyxiant with low toxicity.

He huffed difluoroethane.
