I never understood why people committed suicide until I was divorced, broke, and having to fight for my kid. My ex wife continuously came back and forth in and out of my life, I eventually called it quits, I just couldn't figure out how people could be so hot and cold about someone like flicking a switch. Over years and after failed relationships I have now really understood why suicide is a real option, people are tired, they are depressed, they aren't living and just existing. If you aren't able to do anything but work and breathe then what is the real point to living when all you do is make other people rich, pay taxes to a country that doesn't care about you, and really have no support. The only thing holding me back is my son but everyday I wish something would happen to just end it, I don't want my kid feeling like he wasn't good enough, he is, I'm just tired. So the only question is, why does the internet throw prevention out above everything else? You use it and there's an extreme wait time, the conversation gets disconnected. Why do they cover up sites like this, demonize them, and not even have the work ethic for follow through on their own platforms?

It is a question and there are several valid answers but I guess the fundamental argument is why people value life just because it is "life", therefore, whoever does not wish to follow those pro-life thoughts, are labeled as crazy, irrational, sick, etc.

This is true. It feels invasive though. I used to be more like the others before I started losing everything by giving everything. You try to live right and with compassion, all it gets you in the end is used up. When you become numb then everyone starts saying you have a problem but in reality they made you that way. It's really not "life" if you walk around numb and dead inside, it's just exhausting pretending to be happy so you don't bring unwanted attention. In these last 16 years I've learned that majority of people walking around don't really love YOU, they just love what you do for them.

I found interesting the last sentence you said: they only love what you do for them.

Life experience without denial tends to be that way if you choose to look at it without bias. I'm glad you found an interesting phrase in it.

People want to 'prevent' suicide because they are delusional, they live in denial of the cruel reality of this existence. They want to lie to themselves that life is always worth living no matter the circumstances as accepting that suicide is a valid option would shatter their worldview and they would therefore have to accept that life could potentially get that bad to the point that they want to ctb and this thought scares them. They simply don't understand what the suicidal person goes through as well.

The truth is that taking away suicide methods won't even reduce suicide at all, people would have no choice but to resort to risky and painful methods. Individuals deserve the choice of whether they should live or die and we will all die anyway eventually so to me it's preferable to exit at a time of my own choosing. And also death literally solves everything and removes the true cause of all suffering which is life itself so therefore despite what pro lifers say suicide could never be wrong.
