Why SN?

I see stuff about SN all over this site. They talk about how unreliable overdosing is on this site but people talk about SN here allot. It still sounds like a pretty complicated method. I understand it's easily obtainable and that's a big part of the appeal but what makes it more effective in ctb than other substances you can overdose on?

It's more peaceful to die on it, then again it's getting harder and harder to get, I'm probably gonna hang myself since it's semi peaceful

I think that most people would probably prefer Nembutal as it's more peaceful but people cannot access that, so they go for SN if they are able to access it as after all SN is reliable. Other methods like hanging are more risky and are just more awful in general and difficult to go through with.

It's easier to get, people say it works and the only thing you really have to worry about is making sure you don't throw up x)

It's the nitrite-ion that does the job. simplyfied it stops the ability for the blood to transport oxygen and therfore cells are dieing and as follows the body is dieing. With other ODs (meds) it's different it's mainly the heart that has to stop working to stop blood flow and oxygen flow via the blood (organ failure). SN is also somehow organ failure but it's much more lethal than meds ODs.
