I want to share this supplement that has reduced my depressive and anxious thoughts a lot, and it makes me feel like I can finally start the path to recovery. SS has helped me out a lot, so I thought I'd give back my sharing this pretty cool resource.

The nice thing about this supplement is that it's very safe, and cheap and available in any grocery store for $10 a bottle. I've been taking it for about a month and it's been a huge energy boost, and melted a lot of the heavy depression that was holding me back.

I cleaned my room for the first time in months, started working out again, actually cooked a meal etc. It's seriously been a game changer.

The supplement is called NAC or N-Acetyl-Cysteine. How it works is that it cleanses a toxic substance called "free radicals", that build up in our bodies in response to stress. So when we get abused, bullied, go through trauma, our bodies release these free radicals that poison our bodies. NAC removes these free radicals and restores our bodies to the way we were before we went through the trauma.

There are seriously a ton of studies already done on how NAC helps a bunch of psychiatric conditions like depression, bipolar, OCD, schizophrenia. It even helps with substance abuse.

Definitely
grab a bottle if you can at any grocery store, Amazon or whatever. NAC has helped me more than any anti-depressant or anxiety medication ever has.

I used to take this because I read online about how it was supposed to reduce stimulant tolerance, but it seemed to make stimulants less effective at treating ADD as well. I think it also reduces the effect of dissociatives.

I lost my bottle, I've been wanting to take it again for a while. Should probably order more..

I personally didn't find NAC helpful. I think you have to be in the right context for it to work, definitely worth trying.

L-tyrosine however has been super helpful. On the days when I wake up missing the motivational energy to be able to do anything a couple of those tablets and a few hours later I'm in a better place. "It is an essential component for the production of several important brain chemicals called neurotransmitters, including epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine. Neurotransmitters help nerve cells communicate and influence mood. "

Hello,
i am a Newbie from Germany, and i study naturopathy (the healing power of plants, stones, animals and the elements).
i found it problematic to say that there are tons of studies to NAC,even to diseases like psychosis,manic-depression and so on...i don't know even one.
i heard exactly from 2 plants which were beeing used in the history at really serious mental health problems, but they are definitly no supplements.
