Why did Adam Britton do it?

What is the reason for someone like him ending up doing what he did?

Do you think working with crocodiles changed him? Like maybe losing compassion for living creatures (let's face it, crocodiles are not super loving or anything).

I'm kinda baffled and curious.

He had higher studies, cool career, wife, worked for discovery, BBC and National Geographic, and I'm sure he made some kids interested in reptiles.

Cases like this are just mental illness in my opinion. Some people are just born with the need to hurt others and can't treat it for whatever reason, like serial killers. I don't think anything in particular happened to cause this, he just developed this fetish sometime as a young adult probably.

I have read so many reports of people like him starting with animal torture, mistreating children younger than them, etc. in their pre-teens. It is disturbing to say the least.

By all accounts Jeffrey Dalhmer came from an fairly normal childhood and yet he was a disgusting individual.

I'm mostly a live and let live kinda gal (as long as everyone are consenting adults) but as sure as I stand here now before you, some people need killing. As I said before if you hurt or kill children, the disabled or elderly or animals and enjoy it, I'm sorry but you have no place here, IMHO.

We all have the capacity for evil in ourselves. But also for goodness.

The age old question, is man inherently evil or good? Or is it learned?

I think most people are a mix. Not Jesus, not Satan either. Just a mix of good and bad qualities.

But this case is really baffling. I'm really confused. Wtf.

Fucked up though. His sentence was so light! Australia's judicial system seems to be as messed up as the usa's.

Crocodiles had nothing to do it lol! Don't blame the crocs! They are adorable and lovable in their own right! I may scream and run away from one, even if it was fenced in but... I still love it and would coo at how cute it is! They can't help it that they'd rather bite and swallow your hand than lick it!

Maybe he became Cold Hearted like the Crocs? It's not the Crocs fault, that's their nature, but maybe he became a croc in human form?
