• Hey Guest,

    We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

    Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

    If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

would you rather eat 3 turds or just one turd?
you don't want to eat any whatsoever.
but if forced to, you would probably go for only one.
life = 3 turds
suicide = 1 turd

i don't wanna eat shit... but i definetely also don't want to keep suffering. get it?

suicide is always labeled as something crazy people do.
"oh you have to be a nutcase to kill yourself".
no you don't.
they just haven't experienced that level of pain yet, to have that opinion.

what about the jumpers on 9/11, were they also nutcases????
this is obviously a very sensitive analogy, but for making a point... they could choose to stay in the flames, or end the suffering early.
and they obviously ended the suffering early, by jumping.

I agree with the idea that suicide isn't always bad, but I disagree with this argument. The first example rests on a baked in assumption that living is worse by default, some situations can be changed for the better so it's not always the best solution.

And 9/11 jumpers were stuck with two guaranteed outcomes which was burning alive in or jumping.

Just wanting some peace

I understand as for me ceasing to exist would be the positive solution to find peace from the suffering, torture and cruelty of this terrible, dreadful existence, for me ceasing to exist is just all that's positive in this existence so evil and torturous that only ever harms existing beings with no limit as to how much one can be tortured, to suffer in this existence truly is an abomination to me that just causes all this terrible, dreadful cruelty and suffering and as long as I exist I'll just only hope for the peace of non-existence.

I just want to never suffer again, it's so horrible to me how so many humans cause all this dreadful suffering by imposing this existence and wish to do all they can to make sure the suffering and torture of existing is prolonged no matter what. Anti-suicide is just so evil to me, all that these people want is for others to be tortured for as much and as long as possible, I'll just always see existence as the most terrible mistake, it's just so horrific to me how the torture of existing can continue for decades longer just for one to face the terrible, dreadful agony of old age.
