I ask that question because I worry I'm not - I have Tinnitus (severe) and a few other users on here are in the same boat with tinnitus - I want to die - there's come tines where I've had pains in my chest and I've gone fuck it dont phone anyone no emergency services die naturally of a heart attack and prayed (non religious) that this would happen

But

Killing oneself ?? Now that's a wholly different matter it's hard it's physically hard to do - there is no painless way to go unless you take maybe N out of the equation and possibly Carbon Monoxide and maybe SN (I dint know enough about this method). I plan to be strong be brave almost as soon or not long after my mum has died - the pain of losing her will be great along with the tinnitus thati I'll succeed probally hit by train (poor train driver etc I get that but to me its a solid metal object travelling at a fast speed instant hit instant death) , I can't do the Carbon Monoxide exit thanks to Zanex blog it's too slow bravado to her for being brave enough to opt for a slow death

Carbon monoxide is one of the better ways to go (tried it ) painless. The train method takes a huge amount of balls, and determination.

After reading tons of articles about suicide by train, I've thought about it. But, like you said, it takes some serious courage. It can also be traumatic for the conductor.

I tried partial hanging but I can't handle choking. The strangling is fine. I could feel fuzzy and dizzy and the blood build up, but every time I get close to letting down my full weight I start to choke. I'm thinking of doing SN now. I just need to save up, but taking some pills and knowing it'll all be over, I think that seems easier. I think you'd be able to do it too, it would just be pills after all and then peace.

Yes, I am simply not brave enough, I do have some concern for how it would affect my family but we aren't really that close, at least that's how it feels to me. My parents have both died now, and I feel I have caused more pain than good the longer I have stayed alive, and have thus far refused to be or have been unable to be someone others want or need, for the most part *shrugs* I'm sorry for your pain too.

Me. I also have severe tinnitus, not the reason I wanna die though. I'm going deaf because all I can hear is this in both ears but I just learn to live with it.

Aside from probably going to war i think it's one of the scariest things you can do. I don't get it when they say it's the cowards way out. Who in the world wants to live the rest of their life suffering in pain every single day. No one was built to handle that kind of torture. I honestly believe having cancer is better than a chronic and painful condition. At some point it ends whether good or bad. It doesn't drag on to the point you can't enjoy or do anything. f I could I would choose my health and even take up a dangerous profession. That's not longer an option though so it's either suffer for life or find a way out.

Think most of us here just aren't brave enough. I know I wasn't and my pitiful attempt is testament to that.

The many folks who do take their own lives just do it, many without saying a thing. No moaning, no cries for help, no fuss, just there's the line, it's been crossed, time to go.
