Animals are gigantic pussies, both would be very easy to deal with but duck-sized lions would be the easier option. Duck-sized lions are basically house-cats and house-cats are really easy to scare
My gaming senses say that I would have a better chance against the duck-sized lions if they have bad AI and I can just jump onto an elevated surface to avoid their attacks. I've been playing too much (not enough?) Dark and Darker.
Also my first thought is how much a lion-sized duck beak is going to hurt.
Think ducks usually eat pond weed, insects and some crustaceans- so- I'd go with the duck I reckon. Even little lions could put on a coordinated attack...
Still, I'd likely die of a heart attack brought on by shock and trying to run away (backwards in the case of the lions- you never turn your back and run from a big cat- or, 5 little big cats) so- I'd likely end up dead either way... Great post though- thanks.
I could absolutely kick a lion sized duck, but duck sized lions? My housecats? Nah, I could never harm them. Objectively though, fighting g the tiny lions would be easy. A giant duck would kill you in a not at all peaceful way.
I dunno, a freaked-out housecat slashed my wrist once. The scar lasted months, and totally looked like a failed attempt to ctb. ("Remember kids, it's down the road, not across the street!") I'm sure there were people who assumed I was lying about how I got the cut, and fair enough, given my chronic suicidality. But that time it really was the goddamn cat.
