Are both options a man and woman where I'm the man? I think it's the 1. hers / 2. his that's throwing me off. Like am I the woman in the second option, or am I gay, or is the point to try and take gender out of it? But then (option 3) I wouldn't understand the relevance of the article.

I was just thinking about these typical genre differences (e.g. how women or men see themselves and their roles.).

It's not really about choosing either of those because they are both horrible anyway. I think It's deffenently better to be in real love then just being a ass kisser.
