That idea came from the study showing that upright people sometimes fainted with low doses of sodium nitrite. I don't know if that line of research will bear any fruit though.

I chose how to create a more effective suicide plan because I think it's important to be knowledgable and plan your method instead of being impulsive. I think your success is more likely this way and a guide would be very useful.

it's actually a good point that perhaps exasperating symptoms that would come on by low blood pressure would increase the chance of fainting. Standing up quickly from a sitting position can do that as well. However, falling over in your last minutes might not be everyone's cup of tea.

Wish you'd share your thoughts with the forum about those suicidal people with whom you concur (i.e., people whose objective life circumstances per you seem so dire as to logically justify suicide).

I'd like to read about: How to make a more effective suicide plan (increasing reliability of CTB success), how to research other (obscure) suicide methods (which helps if for whatever reason I couldn't use my preferred method, a firearm), estimating the risk of damage for surviving hanging (since that is one of my backup methods), and risks vs benefits of anti-emetics in the rare event that I ever use substances for CTB (SN and the like - though that is unlikely as I find it more difficult to obtain such substances reliably, without raising red flags).
