Literally resigned a few weeks before I would've got furloughed. Fucking typical.
@thebrinkimdriven you live in the UK. I live in the UK as well. I live in London
Sorry to hear that. Why did you resign?
One of my friends are on furlough.
A lot of people on furlough will lose thier jobs which is so unfair as the purpose of furlough it so protect jobs. British airways are planning reduancies for thier staff. Most of airline staff are on furlough.
Businesses are going to adminstriation it is scary
I have never worked I am useless. But I feel for everyone that has a hard job they have to go to everyday and everyone that has lost their job due to this crap.
@mediocre
I never worked either. I am 23 .We are same boat. Anyway you got me to talk me about your unemployment woes any time you want. Friends :)
I hate being unemployed because i feel purposeless and just a failure. I avoid people i know because i am scared they will ask what i have been doing. I lie to my friends i am working just to avoid questions.
I am on universal credit. It is humilating
I never thought in my life i would be benefits. Imagine graduating university and end up on benefits
It is so embrassing. I watched shows like benefits streeet and these benefits shows in the UK.
Being on benefits in the UK you are seen as a failure. I hope one day i can forget all this . I would love to forget all this.
Unemployment has worsened my already declining mental health.
Seeing a therapist would be pointless because if i had a job today my self esteem would improve a little bit.
I get rejected for everything retail, supermarkets, office jobs etc.
I feel so sorry for the children who parents work in the nhs and also people who work in the care home.
They know the enemy is here when they go to the hospital but where. Everyday they are going to fight an invisible enemy and then go back home.
A boy in my sisters school his mother is an NHS nurse. He stills go to school as both parents are key workers.
This lockdown is a sham. It was not a real lockdown.
Heading back to work tmrw
@Eurus
Have a lovely day at work and keep safe ok.
Dont forget your mask. :)
In the UK where i live on the 15th June it will be compulsory to wear a mask when going on public transport.
Failure to wear will result in a fine or be refused entry on transport
There exceptions for those with disablities and younger children
