Where to place the knot to hang?

I still do not know if I'm going to use partial or full, is the position of the knot relevant?

Are you talking of the height of the knot or of the spot?

Pretty sure if it's full suspension, short drop goes in the back, long drop (break neck) goes to the side. Not completely sure on that though.
