Help Where to cut?

Which vein is the best for cut to the greatest bleeding out (look at the photo)? I think that an artery is, but is the third the artery?

None. It'll take too long to bleed out, plus it'll hurt like a bitch, and after 2 hrs of that, you lost the will to suicide and survival instinct kicks in if not sooner.

None of these are arteries. These are veins. They will bleed lots but not kill you. Yeah he arteries are a bit deeper- it will take a bit of a push to get in. The best will be large arteries- you can bleed out from some of those in 5-10 minutes....

Also please be careful. Don't hurt your tendons.... just don't. Unless you are just cutting for release- don't hurt yourself like this. You won't die.

Yeah any of those cuts would be really ineffective if you want to to ctb.

Are you in a position to try other methods? There are a ton of factors that would thwart success with wrist slits. Perhaps combine a few methods should your resources be limited. Best of luck to whatever you decide!

Please don't try this if you have any other way of ending your life. As others have mentioned you'd have to cut deep enough to hit the artery which will be very painful, is unrealiable and might leave you with permanent nerve damage.

It's good you've changed your mind to find a more effective method. Have you looked into full or partial hanging yet, or maybe jumping?

Or if you're in the US you could also look into firearms.

Sorry. I don't want to stop your choice to die. I just don't want you to hurt yourself without intent. You can easily find the tendons in your wrist and avoid them .... they are just the little tight bands you can see and feel when you push your hand "backwards". If you just need to bleed or cut then you can avoid these with a little care. If you do want to die from exsanguination there are some other areas you might try. But arteries are going to be quick. A bit more painful- but more of a "guarantee". I don't think sadly we have a good resource here for cutting and also exsanguination.....but maybe someone knows that infor better?
Thought about making one for cutting and beyond so people could see how to do it.

All the blue ones you can see under the skin are veins. Arteries are deeper and red, because they carry blood that contains oxygen to the body. Veins are blue because the blood has no oxygen left in it and is getting carried to the lungs to receive more oxygen. If you happen to hit an artery, you'll definitely know it because it'll spurt out to the pulse of your heartbeat.

I thought about falling on a running chainsaw before, neck first. But that is loud and terrifying. And probably massively painful although shock should set in quickly.
And if your survival instinct makes you shriek you might end up just hurting yourself really bad.

What about hanging from high enough it would take your head clean off? I wonder why I never read about this.

Speaking of SH experience: It may bleed a lot but it doesn't do anything. It's really, really hard to go deep. If you go beyond superficial you'll see some white substance, below that fat, and you would have to go even below that to hit something substantial. If you can do that you might as well do anything else because pain clearly isn't an issue for you then.
