I hear N tastes pretty bad and I have been not looking forward to that experience. Someone here mentioned spraying the mouth and throat with lidocaine spray to numb sensation. Where can I purchase this? What are the brand names (in the US)? Does it numb taste?

Chloraseptic spray should work... Use a lot of spray, swish it around like mouth wash, and then swallow it all. Lidocaine looks like it's for skin only so it might taste worse than the n

No...trust me. Lidocaine doesn't taste bad. I've been able to scarf down bad tasting food at someone elses house by putting a bit of lidocaine in my mouth beforehand. You literally taste nothing but it's duration is dependent on the percentage of the anesthetic (higher percentage, longer numb time).

I chew nicotine gum/crush lozenges which burn your mouth a lot. It may taste creamy (especially if you use a cream) but trust me, your tongue and cheeks with be numbed very quickly. Try it really...it's also safe (but I know we don't want that )

I tried swishing liquid lidocaine in my mouth you can still taste stuff and the lidocaine gets washed away with other stuff. But I still think I am going to do it again on my next attempt because I think it at least it minimizes the taste

Well it looks like the jury is out with a proper numbing agent but I'll invest in lidocaine spray. I've decided to add a lot of sugar to my final mixture in the hope that it will mask some of the awful taste, but I'm still very reluctant on adding more liquids like alcohol or juice. I am using a slightly weaker antiemetic and I prefer not to risk vomiting.
