Help Where should someone kill themself

I honestly have been wandering where would be a good place to off myself but at the same time idk I'm filled with anxiety but anyways. I just don't know.

If I had access to a firearm, which I sadly do not, I would set up a tent relatively near a biking or hiking path, make sure it is well insulated (i.e blood won't flow out of it) and just do the deed in the tent at night. Before I would enter it for the last time I would make sure to leave a note saying something like: "I have taken my life with a firearm, do not enter the tent if you do not wish to see the results. Please call emergency services."

I am going to do it with a firearm, that is a great idea actually. I have it planned to do it on a very wide open space away from everyone and everything hopefully. I was going to put a post on social media or send a message to local authorities and then pull the trigger. That way I would be found and handled soon after and no one that shouldn't find me wouldn't.

To minimise any trauma for loved ones, (for what little it is worth considering the action taken), I'll CTB in a hotel.

It's gonna suck for the staff members but I'll try give them plenty of warning before they find my corpse.

Personally, I would rather not be found by family members. My preferred place is out in nature where nobody can stop me or get in the way. As said above, many people choose to ctb in a hotel.

I have decided to go to the crematorium grounds where my sister was cremated and do it there. It is actually a really pretty place. Two reasons. One I will end up going to the mortuary where my sister went and the distance to the funeral director she also used will be close. I really liked the funeral director. Spoke with her at length one time and she said she suffered from depression and had tried to CTB once and ended up in a psych ward.
Secondly, I wonder whether I would be found otherwise and I need to be found for the sake of my cat, so she is not left abandoned in my home with no food.
My brother rarely answers his home phone, or looks at his texts - or answers his mobile phone or checks his emails. My mother cannot use email and she cannot open texts either. She's a luddite technology wise. I am concerned that if I post a letter - it may not arrive as the post in this country has been rubbish of late. Ideally, I'd like to go into a forest, disappear and die - but I can't for the aforementioned reason - the cat.
I am concerned that future timed emails sent to other people will not work. I have such bad luck, it would probably never get sent. One thing I will not do is take my mobile phone with me. I was found after an attempt in 2006 solely because the police were able to track my mobile phone - which was switched off!!!!

I used to mountaineer - high altitude. I never had the good fortune of dying on a mountain which would have been great for me tbh

This topic has been haunting me for weeks. My method is SN and I live alone. No close family since they live in a foreign country. My dilemma is that after ctb no body will find me if I decide to do it in my apartment.

Then I think, who will find me? I have a friend as my emergency contact on the lease, maybe them idk to be honest.

It's very considerate of you but I think that your standard passer-by would still feel a moral obligation to check if there's a chance to save you, so you would still traumatize someone, which would make the sign a bit pointless.

I'v booked a motel so family doesn't find me. Booked it for 3 nights and will probably ctb on the second evening.

You want somewhere private that will ensure you aren't found. That is the most important thing. I plan to exit at a creek not far from where I live. There is an old tunnel which trains go over, and just on the other side there is a hidden area that is not so easy to access. The chances that anyone would even be down there at that time are next to none, and nobody will be able to see me because of a short wall that obscures everything. It's a pretty miserable and lonely place to CTB, but I've always liked it because I have memories of doing graffiti there back when I was in high school.
