In your opinion, where is the best/most convenient place to hang yourself?

It depends on what places you can access.
Basement, bedroom, attic, garage, yard, park, forrest...all have possibilities.
Just plan this part to eliminate any errors that can cause failure.

Somewhere where you cannot be found and rescued. Not that I want to encourage you, but hanging can easily be prevented if somebody sees you.

Must be alone for minimum 30 minutes so you can't be saved

Anywhere . You can do it in bedroom also . But it was the time which makes massive difference. Almost everyone in the world would be in deep sleep by 3 am . So no interruption. You can do it by that time which gives almost zero interruption

My plan is to go to a remote wooded area where I hope I will not be found for a few days.

A place where you can attach the rope and where you are not disturbed. It would also be good if you are not found by children, when you are dead

Pretty much what others said here, but to briefly summarize all the points, basically 3 things:
1) A secluded place where intervention is least possible (including making it hard to be saved, putting obstacles in the way to make it less likely.)
2) A sturdy enough structure (beam, branch, frame, object) to support your weight.
3) Proper technique and strong enough rope to hold your weight (similar to #2).

Deep in the woods or in an abandoned building I think.
But personally I will hang myself off a bridge (more like, hang - jump off a bridge). Mostly because I have an obssession concerning concrete standing structures built over water, but also because I dont know any abandoned buildings, cant climb trees, fail at partial all the time and my fan will break off under me.
