I found it on Yahoo News, bdnews24, and a few other websites without paywall unlike the NYTimes. It's also been shared on several major subreddits like news and worldnews.

There's another one by Vice that was published ages ago, but as far as I know, that one was barely viewed

Actually, I thought it's just another pro-lifer move but now it's scaring me. What if SS gets taken down? I spend the majority of my time viewing those megathreads. It gives me some sort of mental peace. A reassurance that I'd leave this place one day in peace. But now it's really f***inch with my head. Where did those threads go?!

I can see why they did it but it makes the site look guilty, even though we're doing nothing wrong
