C2 spine fracture (hangmans fracture)Live as a vegetable with severe brain damage. Depending on others for every aspect of life. Sounds like hell, but maybe if you don't know it who knows? Too risky for my liking. Then again, so is pretty much everything else besides wishing I had cancer so I can move to Oregon and get some death pills.

Failing this method sounds horrible, it will make my life worst than what it is now. I don't know what to do at this point. I already tested the place where I'll be hanging and I'm almost positive it is secure. CTB is so scary. I still think I might try it soon just gotta pick a good time.

You gotta guarantee isolation and ensure no one will find you in time before you pass. I heard the most common failure for this method is because someone stops the hanging right in the middle of it.

That's my fear too, finding a time where no one would be at my house for a while is pretty easy but I'm still scared about it. I'm gonna see how this weekend goes. If it goes okay then I might wait a little longer but if it doesn't I might attempt it in the very near future.
Yea it's def scary. I'm was all for hanging but now this Nembutal looks good so I'm still thinking

The hardest part of Nembutal is probably just getting your hands on it. I doubt I'll be able to get it in any time soon. I wish you luck trying to find it tho. I'm going with partial suspension cause I got very few options.

hotel would be a good option if you can't get the house free to yourself.

I still live with my parents and I don't got my license yet but probably will sometime soon so if I decide to wait a little bit I'll probably do it at a hotel. Plus I rather not have anyone in my family discover my body, not saying I wouldn't feel bad for the hotel worker that will. I really think it's something that's worth waiting a little longer for to make sure I do it right.Yea walking in on a hanging body is pretty traumatic even if it's family or not

I'm gonna decide to wait until I can somehow go to a hotel without anyone in my family getting suspicious, thank you bigj75 for the tip.
No matter how u cut it someone is gonna to see that you hung urself ,it is just a question of who u possibly traumatize in the end

It may help to prepare an Advance Directive, which you can pick up at your local hospital. You then bring them a copy. I have one done. I also have a copy to leave out next to me when I ctb. It contains a Do Not Resuscitate order, and also says I don't want to be given food or drink.
If someone became a vegetable, but had an AD saying not to sustain life artificially, and their wishes were respected, they would not live for more than 14 days in most cases (dehydration).

I'm not 100% certain on this but I read somewhere that if you have a DNR and you attempt suicide they will still attempt to resuscitate you. Anyone know if this is true?

Duqu yes they have to do everything to save you or they risk being charged with assisting a suicide. It's crazy.
I hate that someone's gonna have to deal with finding me. Unfortunately it's my boyfriend but he's already aware of it so hopefully that softens the blow
Every method has some type of drawback ,with hanging I agree its someone seeing u hanging there dead but for me I prefer that to a gun with brain tissue spread all over the place

Unless you just disappear someone is going to find your body so as anethema as it is you just have to think about what is the price I pay to end my life is it someone finding me is it just disappearing there unfortunately is some kind of cost to any methodSimilar threads
