I can't say I'm ungrateful for the people who have been willing to consider me and them friends. Quite the contrary. One might say they are gold considering the circumstances I have seen. For better or worse, with some, you could even take it a step further and say it means something that they're willing to come back to you after constantly leaving. It could be issues of their own that drive them away, it could be something I did or seemed to do, or it could be outside influences. I've been told by someone I have "babysat" for that I have too many Mao-Mao-Badgerclops dynamics.
Conversely, you could still say that every time they leave, you wonder if it will be the last time. People I know who cycle through this have eclipsed recently. Many of them never specify what went wrong (when they return, the most commonly cited reason is to assume a circumstance was present that wasn't) and none of them specified this time, which I am sure is something that many here would say would cause them to question the regard they have for their friends. So I've been wondering, if you were to take the person who you've done the most good-terms-bad-terms cycles with, how many times have they done so?
