i am type one. also, how to avoid becoming brain dead from it? should i combine it with another med to prevent that?

I don't understand your question entirely. It's VERY different from type and body to body. Hypoglycemia is known for that. If your body doesn't get enough glucose, especially the brain, you will slowly get drowsy, confused and lose Consciousness (I speak from experience). From there, as far as I know, if the Insulin doesn't leave your body quickly enough or you don't get glucose IV, you will eventually get brain damage and it could lead to death.

I have tons of brain damage from tons of lows throughout my life. Wouldn't recommend it.
