i rather take heroin or cocaine to feel good than this stupid ssri shit
They do something weird but don't make you feel good, and there's pretty much no withdrawal symptoms. Basically pointless unless that "something" somehow makes you build yourself better life.
Stuff like heroin feels nice to take but equally un-nice to stop taking. So unless you constantly increase your dose it won't help either, but if you do, you'll eventually die from overdose. (Or run out of money before dying and will get the most unpleasant come down, maybe even die of withdrawal).
With recreational drugs like this, keeping your tolerance to a minimum as much as possible is key.Stuff like heroin feels nice to take but equally un-nice to stop taking. I think in the vast majority of cases(I'm aware that in some cases, chronic depression results from genes/bad chemical make-up.),the real problem is that the patient is living a stressful and unsatisfying lifestyle. the SSRI is merely a band-aid at best. of course, sadly we don't live in a perfect world(otherwise we wouldn't even be talking on this forum)and so the patient doesn't really have all that much of a choice in many circumstances.i rather take heroin or cocaine to feel good than this stupid ssri shit
