Discussion Whats something that would make you genuinely exited to wake up in the morning?

Whats your wildest fantasy about a change in your life that would make you happy and exited to live every day? Mine would be to be able to travel around playing music in a band. Ive been learning a lot about genres and trends latley and its interesting how some things make such huge marks on popular culture. I think I have the skills for it but I dont have any friends and I have really severe anxiety. Im just in a really horrible place in life it makes me break down to even think about it. Ideally id like to inject humor into it too, I really think music and comedy go so well together. Im really into standup too, so being able to do that at night would be great.

I wish I could answer this question. If I could I might have a start to a path for recovery for myself.

Once nothing matters getting that back has been impossible for me.

All i want out of life now is to not have to work. While not going to work will not bring my joy it will alleviate stress. That is the best i have hope for.

Emotionally something like the idea of good food of some kind makes me excited to wake up. It's also what I use to bribe myself to go to work., the idea that I can get anything I want to eat afterwards as a reward.

Logically it'd take something like a million dollars in the bank and nothing in the schedule. So I could do whatever I felt like or do nothing at all.

There really isn't much else.

oh my god this. Ive basically only been searching for this. This is all ive ever wanted. Not even a literal "family" just a couple people that care about my hapiness and wellbeing. I love you marian, dont loose hope.

Someone to look forward to waking up to, cherishing, being with, just giving everything to. Probably the only thing id look forward to waking up to, someone i love beside me.

I have truly, truly given up on caring about happiness. You will inevitably lose it eventually anyway. Everything that happens inbetween is just a distraction from reality. Only thing that could make me happy waking up to, is not waking up

waking up to someone whom i love, who loves me and treats me right, then setting off to a job i love at a work place 5 mins from home. knock off at 4pm when the sun is still up, cook delicious dinner and chill out with netflix and my partner.. sounds simple, but the simple things in life are the hardest to attain. i've been trying to achieve this for all my life. i have no more strength to hope or wait or strive for it anymore.

I'd love to be back at uni... I studied to be a paramedic and then a law degree. Of course I ended up too depressed and flunked out.

If I woke up to uni and my partner was less abusive and we could focus on our intimacy, and I had a steady income with my job as a youth worker, I would be happy.
