I plan to delete my account permanently when I turn 30 and have the resources I need to catch the bus. I know I will dead one day inside a tent at a UK beauty spot.
I do not want people pariculary the authorities finding my account. In the UK when someone dies a coroner must hold an inquest if: the cause of death is still unknown.
the person might have died a violent or unnatural death.
Suicide falls in to these categories. Inquest reports do get published in the medla. This is what scares me. I don't want my family ever knowing I had an account because they will never ever cope with knowing I spent more time talking about my problems to people on a suicide forum instead of them.
People in my life never wanted to listen nor took me seriously when I did reach out and opened up about being depressed and anxious. This is what drove me here to this forum. I got tired of being judged and just wanted people to listen to me.

You make an excellent and poignant point though! If the people in our lives just wanted to listen to us and help us without judgement, many of us wouldn't need to be here. This forum gives a voice to the silenced. It reminds us that our very real and personal struggles are not a joke or to be laughed at, but a legitimate source of suffering that under means our quality of life.
