What would you do if you woke up one day and SaSu was taken down?



Thought I've been here only 2 days, I found a lot of comfort here, would be very upset if it disappeared.

Probably gonna be more than just a little upset about it, if I'm to be honest. Get shaky and panicked, for sure. Ask the mods on Discord (ones I can reach) if everything's ok and try to calm myself down if I can.

Just continue to suffer in this existence I was unfortunate enough to be so harmfully burdened with until someday I die. Death will come eventually whether I leave on my own terms or not, if this site goes down it's simply just the way things are, it's out of our control, everything is temporary anyway and nothing ever lasts.

I'm curious if anyone knows, but might be a better question for the mods, if the site data is backed up?

The politics surrounding this site make it not far out of the question that it could get shut down. There are always dark net avenues but then those are less accessible.

Regardless, it would be a shame if the valuable information on this site were lost. At least if it is backed up then the site can always migrate.

Shrug. Google "SaSu shutdown" and then google "SaSu alternatives". Maybe wait a week or a month. There's enough ppl here that they would find a way to make a replica of sorts.
If not, there's a somewhat less active app I go to on occasion where you can discuss suicidality pretty often. It matches you with ppl for short anonymous mental health chats, and they're not usually judgy (tho most are pro-life as ppl here would call it). It's a nice little vent app to talk or listen.

A few months ago when the site kept going down, that was frustrating. It seems to be (knock on wood) running a lot more smoothly now, which is a relief.

If the site got taken down, I feel a new one…not the same, but a variation would rise in its place.

I mean I literally can't afford any type of treatment or help (which have never worked for me anyway, so, I'll save my money I guess), so they'd be taking away my ONE source of support. I have nothing and no one in my life to help me deal with these feelings, but, they wanna shut it down? Great, can't wait to see what happens to me next.

I'm pretty sure 8chan is hosted on Tor and it has a suicide board. Also, if a new SaSu pops up I'm sure I'd hear about it in certain communities.

Idk what I would do, probably CTB earlier bc SaSu is one of the factors that keeps me going for now. But let's b honest, if SaSu was shut down there'd be a new forum shortly after that.
