im considering using a firearm however dont want to use it on the head as the dmt part of dying sounds awfully pleasant, however, i want something thatll end it almost immediately

The heart is where I'd go. Once it is destroyed, your brain only has moments before hypoxia sets in. It's no different than occluded carotids at that point.

its what makes death peaceful. the "light at the end of the tunnel" flipping through your lifes best memories, seeing loved ones, its released through the medula through the rest of your body. i dont know if its capable of being released if the brais is destroyed

Never heard of it and have no idea what you are discussing. There is something called NDE or near death experience.
It takes 7–12 seconds to pass out with hanging, so I'd consider that a very fast method, at least from your perspective. Death takes about 15 minutes.

i couldnt bring myself to to a hanging, mostly because, having a thick neck, i cant even pass out during a bloodchoke, so even though i have the right calculations for a full drop, theres a high chance that, due to the blood not being cut off fast enough, it would take upward of a minute to pass out (i had a bloodchoke until my neck was being crushed, but again, thick neck, it makes these methods tricky)

Most "fast" methods have severe consequences should you fail. You may also traumatize those that have to clean up the bloody mess you've left behind. They're also not peaceful at all.
*Gunshot to the head: Fast, high fatality rate, but very bloody. In the unlikely scenario you survive, you'd be a vegetable or suffer permanent brain trauma, which will greatly affect a lot of things
*Train decapitation: Guaranteed death, but irresponsible because the train staff has to clean up your mess
*Jumping: Very painful if you survive; your lower body is gonna be all screwed up. No guarantees if you'll die immediately.
In my opinion, if you're looking to terminate yourself, you should use a peaceful method. After all the pain you've gone through in your life, you owe it to yourself to at least pass away peacefully in your final moments.

Pics I've seen of shotgun blasts through the mouth show empty craniums. This is in milliseconds. Not sure there is any conscious experience beyond hearing a click.

How quick would cyanide be?? Hard to get hold of but if u do then how long post ingestion will u be done with ur life. Is it painful ?

if guns are available to you then I'd say go for a shotgun; it's quick and with the fact your brain matter gets everywhere it's a certified death so long as you don't flinch

Yeah as a lot of users already said, I think a bullet to the head (aimed correctly) is the quickest way, you'd likely be dead before the bang would even register.

It is uncomfortable. Not nearly as rapid as movies portray. Many organ systems shutdown along they way before you lose consciousness.

For cyanide salts its a few minutes to death when taken on an empty stomach, I believe. If you drop potassium cyanide into a vat of hydrochloric acid it releases pure cyanide which can kill you in about 30 seconds. Its painful because it blocks the enzymes that transport oxygen to your organs so you basically suffocate. There was a guy who ctb that way in court to avoid charges and it didnt look peaceful at all but at least it was effective

I thought about drop haning off a bridge to cut my head off, that would be quick too since you have about 6 to 15 seconds of consciousness left after decapitation before the flow of blood in the brain ceases.
