What were you diagnosed with, you can choose more than one illness.
wowBipolar I, Depression, and Complex PTSD.
LmaoI took this long and maddeningly repetitive psychological test, three hours worth of questions as it was required to get into this pain management program, and the psychologist said "according to your results you are very depressed". I just stared at him like "no shit". Didn't need to get carpal tunnel clicking answers to sort that gem of wisdom.
Jesus...you know, much like the general population not EVERYONE who is a healthcare "provider" is shit, but damned if just like the general population there are a LOT of dickheads in the profession.
Here's this gem, " You know, people that have terminal cancer exhibit a lot mental illness symptoms and possibly the onset of certain disorders."

That is one of the worst things I have EVER heard, and I admire your restraint to not knock him off his chair, or worse. Here's this gem, " You know, people that have terminal cancer exhibit a lot mental illness symptoms and possibly the onset of certain disorders."

My oncologist is much better to talk to than the mental health pros around here. He knows, he sees the suffering and pain firsthand. He gets it and understands very well. He's not necessarily pro-choice, but he's not judgemental either.

I've heard going out for walks, exercising and thinking lots of positive things helps with relieving the symptoms and pains of this disease. Hadn't worked for me though, maybe mine is a bit resistant to home remediesShit, I think I have that one too. Right...another thing to worry about. Of course. Hits keep coming.
