Discussion What to do before I kill myself?

Hello, this is my first post on this forum. I plan on killing myself, I plan to do it sometime after I graduate. Although, I do not have an exact date on when I will do it. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do before I kill myself? For example, sky diving, or bungee jumping? Thanks for taking the time to read my thread!

Do everything that you can. Eat loads of junk food, travel, go to bars, etc. Enjoy life as you can "positively", before you do the deed. Thats what I plan to do before I go my way.

Well, I can't really travel, I am too young to go to bars. I could just get a fake ID?

What I plan on doing before I bite the bullet (figuratively) is read as many books as I possibly can.
Like Xebsora said, do as many 'positive' things as you can before you take your own life. Have fun.

Welcome to the forum.... If I was you I would do everything I possible can do... I've often said to myself this is my last week and I feel more brave and confidant until the days pass and I am still here... Now I'm just broken and lost... Do whatever you like. If you're absolutely sure you're heading out the door might as well do whatever you please(barring hurting others obviously) while you still can. Can't travel or go to a bar, well then do something a on a smaller scale that you fight fun. Whatever floats your boat until you feel like sinking it really.

Get out in nature somewhere. Top of a mountain, into a forest, natural hot spring, quiet spot on a lake or a river. Just be there on your own and pay attention to the sounds. I feel like everyone should experience this before they go. I haven't decided for sure but I may even CBT in nature rather than at home.

If you are truly suicidal, then I've never understood how people have the effort, or see the point, in doing lots of positive things. If you can find positivity in them, then surely you have reasons to stay and build upon. I couldn't think of doing anything at all, but lie in bed.

I agree with you. It takes a lot for me to do anything each day and when I do start something, within a short time, it becomes meaningless and I stop whatever it is I'm doing. I have been fishing a lot lately though because that is something that I enjoy and can be out on the water contemplating my decision to want to die all day, every day. My family knows that I am struggling and my wife even asked me not to take the gun when I went fishing recently.

I'm assuming that you are old enough to drive and in college (or finishing up senior high), but maybe not old enough to legally drink (US law is 21). I suppose you could do some fun things like playing video games, watching some of your favorite movies, or doing anything that you deem fun before you decide to go.
