I feel like I'll panic and botch my own attempt. 30 min is a long time of just sitting and waiting to die. I thought maybe being in call with someone would help but it's probably better to die alone.
where'd you hear about 30 minutes? i thought unconsciousness tends to happen quicker than that. i was imagining more like 10-15 minutes.
i was thinking of just lying there or maybe watching something on the tv (since i'll be at a hotel). like starting a movie, drinking the SN when it's time, then continuing to watch as if it's no big deal.

From my understanding of SN, based off threads here, medical articles/reports, news articles, and coroner reports, if you take the recommended dosage for your body weight, you'll loose consciousness fairly quickly. 30 minutes is highly unlikely, you're probably looking at 10 to 20 minutes max. Even if you're conscious around the 20 minute mark, you'll likely be very out of it. You deteriorate quickly with SN, I've read of multiple cases of people regretting their choice and calling for help and still dying. That's why IMO one should be 100% sure, give it deep thought, and be ready to die if they're going to take SN. Sure some have survived attempts, but for the most part it's really not something you can go back from, and the effects take place very quick.
Listening to music, writing, maybe taking some sleeping pills to not bother with that choice in those moments. From what I know of the lethargic and weakening symptoms, however, I doubt you could do anything but lie on the floor or on your bed before long and think back on short collection of pleasant memories.
I read the average was 12 minutes. A while back I found a video of a guy who filmed himself taking SN and it showed him until he lost consciousness. He did not appear to be in shape to do anything. He looked nauseous at first and then he was really out of it. At one point he was kicking his legs.
