It's a very small thing, but I brush my hair at least twice a day.

It's been very long for almost my whole life; it's currently past my waist. At my lowest, I would go weeks or months without actually brushing it... It was awful to finally get all of that out when I set myself a goal to brush it daily, and it's evolved to twice-a-day now--when I wake up and when I go to bed. It tangles so fast that I find twice is much better.

Even when a lot of my life is shit, it feels nice to have good hair, at least.

Working out in the morning. I have to. My depression is severe and physiological. I'm stiff and weak. But I force myself through the warmup because I need it not to f#*!ing die. Doing it again tomorrow.

It's fueled by coffee, but less all the time. It no longer brings euphoria; it just intensifies anxiety. Down to one morning cup. Now that cup needs to shrink.

- try to have enough sleepingtime
- giving the day and the week a structure
- going for therapy and remember on therapy and my psychologist

Where do I go for this?

I don't want to do a 12 step thing but I need to yap about bad feelings and be supported more than you can with normal socializing (which I don't do anyway lol). And more often than therapy.

I try to have a peaceful morning every day. I like to take my drugs and then enjoy my coffee in peace while cuddling with a cat or two and doing whatever I want to (usually scrolling on Reddit, reading the news or playing mobile games). This really helps me mentally. I also do the same in the evening, but instead of coffee I drink tea or herbal infusions.

Recently been trying meditation which can help sometimes but often breifly.

The vast majority of my time I cant get myself to do it, but when I can hobby and focus for a bit it can improve my mood.

Mmm, it's the 12 step program, sorry :-(

When you read the steps they sound extremely strange and to be honest, if I had read the steps first then I would never have gone there... But it is not a religious program even if it sounds that way at first. But it has a spiritual level where it's about giving things away. In principle, your higher power can also be a sneaker. But I also have a hard time with this higher power thing, I'm leaving that out a bit at the moment and you can easily go there without this focus. But if you really reject it completely, it might be annoying and not the right thing to do. In contrast to other self-help groups, I like the fact that there isn't just complaining and that you feel like you belong. This sounds strange, but it has really improved my life.

But there are definitely other self-help groups in your area too! In my country there is a list where all groups on all topics are listed. Maybe a help hotline or a doctor or a counseling center or a depression forum knows something? Or does anyone here know something?

I have a lot of daily activities in my various phone games to keep me engaged. It also ensures that if I ever get sent to like a psych ward and have my phone taken away, then the sheer despair from not being able to do these things will be enough to permanently seal my fate and guarantee my CTB.

Working out, though that's usually 3 times a week, not every day.

I find changing out of my pyjamas and actually getting dressed helps me feel a lot better.
