I'm curious how everyone else is sleeping. I think it says a lot about how you are doing.

I'm normally a night owl, but I'm trying to become a morning person. A lot of happy and successful people seem to get up early and go to sleep early. If I emulate them, maybe I can start to enjoy life like them.

My sleep schedule has no form, it can vary every day.

Some days i sleep more than 12 hours, other days i only sleep 6 hours or less, other times i sleep until 4-5 in the morning, i have naps during day, sometimes i don't sleep at all, i can get up several times during night. I feel exhausted almost every day regardless of hours of sleep.

Although it's my only moment of "relief" from this existence by being almost unconscious, what bothers me from being asleep are multiple super strange dreams/nightmares and having to wake up again. When i wake up, these dreams can leave me with a very strange and unpleasant feeling.

In the winter I need at least 9 and a half hours of sleep, in the summer a minimum of seven and a half hours is enough. I go to bed at ten at night and wake up at quarter past eight in the morning (in the summer at quarter past seven).

I never feel like I sleep enough, even know I try to, I wish I could sleep more but I know that no amount of sleep could ever take away any of the tiredness that I feel. And anyway, as long as the chance of waking is always there, temporary sleep could never offer any relief for me. Only eternal sleep could ever be perfect and ideal for me.

Hallo

i usually sleep around somewhere from 12 to 15 hours, everytime i wake up i go back to sleep until i physically cant anymore. sometimes i have bad periods of insomnia where i dont sleep for literal days probably because of how much i sleep on average

besides that its pretty inconsistent, for the past month ive been basically nocturnal, id go to sleep at 10 am and wake up at like 2 am, yesterday i went to sleep at 5 pm

It's a mess and it always will be due to PTSD.

My sleep schedule is all over the place. Lately, it seems that I can't sleep for as very long as I used to—sometimes I'm still awake until morning. Even then, I still get only about 4 or 5 hours, which is unfortunate because sleep is my only respite. To remain unconscious longer, I usually have to use a combination of over-the-counter sleep aids.

I try to be in bed by 11 pm and have my alarm set to 8 by default, 8:30 on the weekends. I can't sleep during the day even with blackout curtains. I am dependent on benzos to sleep normally, though I can sleep without in extreme circumstances (sick/dehydration).

Overall I do better when I sleep at night, sunlight is energizing for me and routines help me take good care of myself.

I haven't been feeling well rested lately unfortunately. Watch says my oxygen level has been low (<95% SpO2) most nights. I don't plan to live long enough to get medical care for this.

I have bipolar disorder. My most difficult time of year is from November to February (very depressed). I take multiple heavy medications for sleep every night. Done this practically my whole life.

Winter months- 3.5- 4.0 hours
Summer months- 4.0- 5.0

What sleep schedule?
I hardly have a concept of time any longer, days blend together.
My insomnia is horrendous, the amount of sleep debt I've accrued over the last 6.5 years especially, is insurmountable.
And I never had quality sleep even before that.
My brain does not turn off.
Whether or not my body is tired, my brain "has a mind of its own".
Even substances won't shut it down, unless I overdo it.
Could have been a positive if I didn't only have miserable things to think on and worry about (and they are the real detriment when it comes down to it, not my brain..it's living in such a frightened, uncomfortable and anxious state 24/7).
10 am-10 pm ..I wish.

But yes, that is already me pacing with lightning speed at 2am.

How does it determine your oxygen level?

How does it determine your oxygen level?
It's got lights and sensors under the watch that periodically turn on and record heart rate and SpO2 while the watch is on your wrist. No need for a fingertip pulse oximeter (tho they are more precise)

Try to get to bed by 10.30pm but quite often can't get to sleep. Get up anywhere between 6.30am-8am depending on what I need to do (and how much sleep I actually got.)

My sleep really varies. Sometimes, I don't have any issues. Other times, anxiety just keeps me up. Think you're right though- a change in sleep pattern is very often linked to things like depression.

Messed up at the moment because in my job we do night and day shifts. Love night shifts to death since I don't have to interact with anyone but by god do they hurt.

Same, there is no sleep schedule. It varies too much. I can sleep for 12-14hrs on a drunk night, stay up for 24hrs then sleep 4 hrs rinse and repeat.

I can only sleep for like 4 hours everyday, doesn't matter what time I go to sleep. I don't know why. It just doesn't let me.
