I've seen documentation that says a gun is most effective and has little suffering if done correctly. Poisoning yourself with drugs or other chemicals is 5% effective.

hanging is the most used method, getting a rope is very easy unlike a gun or a very tall building.

To me the original post does not make sense, there are no methods that require no resources and no planning. If there was a method that fit into that criteria I would already be gone. If you did not plan a method properly there is a higher chance of failure. I do believe that if N was actually accessible that would be the most popular. I do not know what the most common method actually is, I'm not sure if there is a way to ever know that but in my case hanging is the most accessible.

One could easily say that shooting yourself in the head, jumping off a high building or hanging yourself is the easiest or quickest option but those are all quite terrifying to most people who simply just want to fall asleep and die without any pain. I did do a bungy jump of a very high bridge once and I remember thinking at the time that this is probably the closest feeling I'll get to jumping off a bridge to kill myself. Did I enjoy the experience? Yes, it was thrilling but then I knew a bungy cord tied to my ankles was going to save me from hitting the bottom otherwise I think I would have had second thoughts. I think the question should be what the best method for a peaceful and pain free death is, which is what I'm looking into. SN seems a popular choice on here so it could be that. N is like gold dust and almost impossible to find and even if you do, what's to say you won't get caught? The exit bad is another choice but unless you're technically minded it might not work plus you have to buy everything you need for it. I'm only just looking into this so please excuse my ignorance if I'm wrong about this.

Hello newcomer. May I bring your attention to the fact that this thread was pretty much dead in February. The site do suggestions of similar threads instead of recent ones at the bottom of posts. I try to go back or use the quick jump menu.

Someone replied by poison is only 5% effective. I would sn be more effective? Beside stopping people from reporting failures with bullying? I bought sn. But the reason I want to die is because I'm being poisoned everyday. It's the worst life & worse death... I couldn't partially hang myself successfully. So I plan to finish myself off with poison SN. But I wish I could get mentally prepared for what would happen if I don't pass out quick... And how to pass out quick if the s*** hits the fan. I wish I had the courage to try it now on zoom so people would know. But I don't have the entire stan's recipe... And my body is used to compensate for anemia... So I'm probably going to fail but it will probably work for anybody else. I'm f****** cursed. But is so used to be at death's door that I just won't die even when I'm killed. I can:t take it anymore
