I want to say i'd be dead right away, but i'm trying to find a good location lol. Ideally a forest or a mountain range where no one will find me, if i wasn't scared of the ocean maybe i'd rent a boat and shoot myself in the ocean.

If I had readily access to a firearm and the right time and circumstance, I would CTB, yes, but I wouldn't do so in an state of mind where I'm prone to error or if I'm not at least 100% ready and certain.

If having that method meant I was guaranteed to die with no more pain and no more suffering then of course as non-existence is all I wish for, I only wish for some peace, I'm always so tired of suffering in this existence. I just wish to never exist again but of course I'm still trapped here instead, I'd be long gone if I had a way to painlessly free myself from this existence that is so cruel and torturous to me, I'd always prefer to not exist but more than anything I wish I never suffered at all, I never should have existed.

For me personally a gun is too messy.

i don't think i would. i've never seen a gun irl, so maybe im just not comfortable with them? but it seems violent and messy to me, my ideal method would be like going to sleep, into unconsciousness, then dying

In my country, goverment will do its best to make LEGAL gun ownership next to impossible: Lots of red tape to go through and LOTS of money to pay.

That being said, should I find myself with a shotgun at home WITH the right ammunition (goverment also makes it difficult to LEGALLY purchase one round) and nobody knew I have these things without any permit; then I would abandon N2 in favor of shooting myself.

Nonetheless, I would first pay a security firm to train me in the use of the shotguns they own (hopefully they would resemble to the one at home) so I would know what I'm doing. Once done with the course, I'd go back home and CTB.

The reason why I insist in shotguns is that I've known of people surviving handgun shots.

Should I find out that the ammo I have is not suitable for CTB, then I would resume N2.

i would shoot my self in the head at a high building corner to make sure to die my method is jumping

I have one, a .410 shotgun. No clue of the lethality but the barrels pretty long so it's practically impossible to reach the trigger. It's a shotgun, so I imagine it'd work but also, don't wanna struggle to reach the barrel because if it moves to far forward, I'm just blowing my face away but surviving, which would be a terrible existence.

Absolutely it would be in my mouth within the week. I'd have a glass of rum, wait 15 minutes and then eat the gun... and bye.

I have no intention of ever using a gun to CTB. It would have to be a near last resort. I am too afraid that something would go wrong if I were to use it to end myself. I am also too stupid and incompetent to even use one to defend myself. I have really low dexterity so the chances of making some stupid mistake with them are high.

I would do it. I know the basic human anatomy and anything that damages the medulla or brain stem is a quick way out. Attaining guns here is a nightmare and HEAVILY restricted so in actual matters its very hard to obtain.

I wouldn't plan on using it right away. I'd probably plan to in a few months or a year. But, I might use it sooner than that, in an impulsive moment of pain.

(My preferred method is either OD or jumping.)

If I owned a gun this world would be a better place. Having tried and failed to 'CTB" a few times, I keep wishing for a gun.

I will, in mere months. Just applied for my firearms license today. Background is squeaky clean and no records from my therapists or psychologists should be on file.

I'm absolutely going with a shotgun, 12 gauge. I have some range experience and will get more with friends who shoot at the range. Once I actually have the gun, I will make plans, have my last meal, and travel deep into nature before pulling the trigger.

I'd be afraid of failing with this method, though I know it's unlikely. Probably not as much of an issue with a shotgun, but what a horrible thing to leave behind, especially when having my family identify my body. I've been randomly coming across stories from people who shot themselves in the head and lived, and while they're all happy to still be alive they're also very disfigured and I'd guess in constant pain. One woman looked like she had pieces of her entire face stitched back together, slurred all her words, and was at risk of having her teeth fall out. Not something I want to take a chance on, even though it's supposed to be more effective than most other methods.

i have one, a 380 SHIELD EZ. i have it for home defense only. i can't imagine using it to CTB. that's how my own mom died in the early 1990s. i think i will trade it for food/water/pain pills (etc) when society collapses and grocery stores are out of food.... i just don't want to pull the trigger and miss and hurt someone else or survive it with damage. i'd feel safer using SN....

I think if I had access to my own firearm I'd have been dead way before this point. Not immediately though.
