Idk how your family is , but if they care and love you they will be really sad/upset/depressed . And by jumping from a building there is a chance you survive and since the building is tall you will probably end up with bad broken bones or you may even not walk again so i recommend you not to do it but your choice ig

i dont have another choice. there's some really shady people i need to get away from and i need to do it quickly. if i survive, i'm worried they'll find me. i don't wanna bear this burden any longer. i'm also just tired of life in general and i can't take any more. thank you for your concern :)
@redemption I'm sorry you're in such situation. I'm not going to talk about what you should or shouldn't do, as this is a decision that really only you can make.
But what I can suggest is that if you have any doubts about doing it, or not sure how you feel about how people will react (as you mentioned), it might be good to step back, and take a moment to think about it. Review your thoughts, your fears, your options.
It is good to think about the fears and feelings you may have, so in that way you may find a bit of peace and reconciliation within you about your decision. And I hope you find the peace you wish for, no matter how.
Just got to make sure you've done the necessary research, I'd say. Especially with respect to what the consequences of surviving would actually be depending on the method and weighing up probability of success with effect of failure.
But, if something goes wrong and you survive, well then hopefully you live to die another day.
Easy for me to say, but you only have to be brave once, right?

if i land on my head ill die like instantly (i think) but if it works it wont even matter. i can get through the SI but idk how long it'd take to fall and that's scary

Yeah scary no doubt. I'm in a similar spot to you and the only way I've really been preparing myself mentally is watching suicide videos online. Based on that probably only a few seconds so I personally wouldn't worry about the actual falling bit, not like it's painful or anything, right?

Provided that you land on a hard surface (e.g. concrete) there is very little chance of surviving from that height. Just make sure that there isn't anything below you that could break your fall, such as a car. And take great care that you don't land on top of another person. As well as breaking your fall, it would seriously injure, and might even kill the other person.
Jumping is one of the worst ways to go. Survivors of jumps say that there's plenty of time for fear and regret while they're falling. You could watch the movie The Bridge to see more about this.
If you're concerned about how people will react seeing and your parents identifying your body choose a different method.
If your interested what the reaction will be for the people that see your body you can Google "I saw someone jump to death." You can also look up the reactions to who saw others that fell from the world trade center tower and saw the bodies.
Public deaths run the very real risk of your body being filmed and ending up shared across gore websites online. Before the police have time to respond if it's in a public place the danger of being filmed is so high.
Yesterday I saw a baby squirrel shaking on the ground after falling from the tree. It seemed badly injured. The mom was trying to get it up but there was someone filming it and she was scared to come near. People start filming the moment they see anything out of the ordinary.
You could also end up a vegetable. There was a nice man I used to care for when I worked in long term care who'd had an accidental head injury after a really bad fall from a standing height. It made me cry very often to see him like that until I stopped working there.
Failing ctb does sound so terrifying to me, that is exactly what I fear, but I guess if one was to succeed nothing else would be capable of mattering to them, we are all destined for nowhere but to cease existing anyway, and it could never be our concern what happens in this world after we are gone. Eventually we very likely won't even exist in the memories of those who continue to stay here, and that is the reality. But I do envy and admire those with the courage for the jumping method.

i dont care what'll happen, it won't matter when i'm dead anyway. i understand your point tho. but i really don't care about being filmed or anything. even if i survive i'll try and try again until it works

If you have a brain injury you won't be trying anything again. You've got to think about the risks in a less idealist way.
Surviving doesn't mean you just spawn in the hospital ready to go and try again. Also even if you didn't get a brain or spinal injury which would make you physically unable to try again you would likely be held under suicide watch for a very long amount of time.
As with all methods, there is a non-zero chance of survival and failure. However, with certain methods it can be as close to guaranteed (100%) as possible especially with the right circumstances, planning, and execution of the attempt. Surviving is indeed one of the worst outcomes especially if it results in more suffering due to permanent injury, becoming a vegetable, and in addition to more scrutiny and judgment from the people around them.
