I know it has some of it flaws and people make it sound so magical like you can just sit in your bed all day without doing anything and picture your life and it all just starts happening like the next day, but I feel like it has some truth to it like changing your beliefs about yourself, your words do have power, changing your self image, etc... but what do you guys think? Have you had any success with it? do you see any flaws in it? What's your honest opinion?

I don't think it's fair to say people born in turmoil manifested it. I do know I have darkness that has followed me cus I deal with negativity. I know my problems are my fault for being insecure and having a vile attitude. I think it's symbolic that we are quarintined in an era that encouraged isolation because of technology and this is how it manifested.

Well, it works, but you had to think positive things if you want positive things, and you have to MOVE, any change is action, energy moving, also works, in the bad way, if you are negative or do bad actions, you will get bad results, talking from the experience.

i definitely agree, I've seen a lot of people saying to others how they manifested their own trauma and it's just so fucked up, I'm not too big into it anymore for those types of reasons but like I said I feel like it holds some truths to it too.

It's funny, when I graduated college in December I said to myself, "glad that's finally over, now I never want to leave this fucking house ever again". That ended up working out like a treat, ha.

I think there's some truth to it and I've also had limited success with it. Unfortunately, I suffer from a mental illness which often prevents me from thinking rationally and makes me see things through a veil of darkness.

There was a previous discussion on the Law Of Attraction, and I think @Misanthrope had said it perfectly:
https://sanctioned-suicide.net/threads/using-the-law-of-attraction.23996/post-533461

I had a conversation with someone who is a staunch believer in the Law Of Attraction, and he went on about how when a woman gets raped that she unknowingly 'willed it' to happen, which I think is beyond stupid.

That is a fucking horrible thing to say. So I guess if you get murdered, contract AIDS, or become homeless you "willed" that to happen too? People have some bizarre ideas. But then again, it makes sense that the "law" must be valid in each direction. It can't be legitimate if it only works positively, so I suppose this person is merely defending their belief. A staunch Christian would simply change a few words, essentially claiming the same: "it was *God's will* that this woman was raped- He works in mysterious ways!"
In my youth I practically constantly daydreamed/meditated about finding love and having a significant other; however I never manifested a single legitimate relationship.... still haven't actually, though I don't "dream" like that anymore because I find it's self-destructive. Better to not build up one's hopes like that.

Essentially showing how the "law of attraction" is bunk.

That's fucking gross and that's why I started to avoid it, that's bullshit and absolutely not true. Stay away from people who victim blame. Like I said there are some truth and there are some flaws like what he said.

They say it's not really thinking positive thoughts, it's more of subconscious beliefs that you have to dig for and change. I wonder if it's true?
