I was suppose to be doing stuff all day. Instead I haven't been able to get myself out of bed at all even once. I have tried the whole stop being a bitch and get out of bed thing but it just hasn't worked. My body feels so weak....even though my body is actually pretty strong.

I was suppose to be doing stuff all day. Instead I haven't been able to get myself out of bed at all even once. I have tried the whole stop being a bitch and get out of bed thing but it just hasn't worked. My body feels so weak....even though my body is actually pretty strong. So how do I stop being this pathetic and help myself?
dunno. I wasted a whole day, a beautiful day, in my favorite part of the year, in bed or in my basement. :/ sometimes life is just that way

But for you, I'd recommend seeing a doctor. Maybe medication would help you if you're struggling with depression.

I have thought since tens years ago I ether want to make my life worth living or kill myself. I don't care which one. While I should be dead, my 45 jammed when I pulled the trigger on a mountain ledge I am basically in the same spot as ten years ago except I have lots of money. I think I am just going to make a lethal cocktail without an anitode and go from their. It's funny I talked to the happiest person i have ever met if they would live their life again, they told me fuck no. I really don't see why I should live a life something that is arguably around neutral at best when death itself is just neutral. People can't even accept death so they have to make up fairytales and think I am crazy. The system I am is fucked.

I lay in bed for about 20 hours a day or more. Hence why I'm always on here unless I'm asleep. Really been Brian Wilsoning it for the last 4 years.

If I feel that way I just stay in bed. However if I didn't want to stay in bed, looking at the emails or texts or whatever for plans made and stuff help me a lot. Knowing someone is going out of their way to prepare to meet me is often enough for me to get up to go meet them.

It's hard though.

Or low iron/B12/blood sugar level. Always better to get checked out if you can. There are a few hundred things that can cause such an issue Julia. It is not always due to depression.

I'm aware of it and indeed I was too quick to assume. I probably just speak the first thing that comes to my mind without much thinking too often. Sorry for that.

Sometimes i get to the point where I have been in bed so long that I become sick because I haven't eaten or drank anything. There were times i've stay in bed for days trying to force myself to stay asleep but eventually a near panic overcomes me because I'm completely isolated with my depressing horrific thoughts. This is hell.

Remind yourself that getting out will make you feel better. Maybe try having something to look foward to ready in the morning? A new video game, a small activity, a good breakfast?

If you want to force yourself throw your phone across the room before bed.

If you feel like staying in bed my advice is to stay in bed until you feel like getting up, dont force it. At the weekends I never get up before 3pm and the latest time so far was 6pm.

When I really have to do something [in the outside world]
1. coffee + dark chocolate
2. first warm then cold shower for about 1 min [incl. my head],
3. another coffee

Now I can start planning!

I just roll to the floor literally just to get out of bed. I end up taking so much time doing stuff that only require few minutes so I get angry at myself and go straight back into bed for few more hours.
