I do believe in heaven or hell. But we only go to hell if we believe we can do something to save ourselves from hell. We only have to believe in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. When we believe, we are saved and go to heaven.

I don't know.. in fact all the choices are possible. But I do think there's something... just that humans can't understand it.

A belief may make me feel better or worse, it may motivate or encourage me to do something or not do something. I remain skeptical and open, but I believe nothing because there is no verifiable proof of anything. That feels like shit, but it's better than the false comfort of believing what I desire to be true, or the fear of believing in something punishing that is not proven to be true.

One of the hardest things about being human is being conscious yet not being able to know what we don't know. Humans used to believe Earth was the center of the universe, and shit got ugly when someone found proof that wasn't true. Beliefs can be comforting until challenged, then folks can turn dangerous over them. We can get more emotionally attached to and driven by beliefs than facts.

If I believe anything, it's that evolution screwed us over by our brains having evolved to rely so heavily on symbolism and to interpret it as real. Even that I don't know for sure, but it pisses me off, which still isn't serving me.

I believe that there isn't life after death. I haven't seen any scientific proof about it so I remain skeptical.

But can I choose to believe tho? If something is unbelievable can I will myself into believing? This idea of judgement predicates on the idea of "Free Will" which is basically to be free from all causes. If that was true, circumstances would not matter at all, i could just choose to feel great all the time, believe anything i wanted, love whomever i wanted etc.

I just hope there isn't a hell.
But considering the crazy stories humans come up with, I imagine that's just fear mongering to keep humans in check and obedient. Even if it's non existence I imagine the state of mind you're in when you are dying can have an affect on your last moments if you do hallucinate etc. Perhaps the last moments could be a sort of hell... but then lights out.

I think for me, it was admitting that I have no control. Admitting that I cannot be perfect enough. So I had to wave the white flag, and say I cannot be perfect enough, I cannot do enough. So believe was all that was left, that it is all paid for.

I think there is something peaceful. There was a kid on YouTube who had a serious heart condition - he had "died" and been resuscitated several times, and he talked to his family about a place he went that was so peaceful, he almost didn't want to leave. When his heart eventually gave out and he couldn't be resuscitated, his family were comforted by what he had told them. Really interesting stuff.

Plainly cease to exist. If I am somehow reincarnated & also having a miserable life, hopefully I could find a way to die within my own choice.

I don't believe in anything specific, however I am certain that there is an afterlife. What that afterlife is going to be like, I don't know.

I think I will continue living in the spirit world but I don't think living in that realm would be like a dream. I think it'd feel just a real as living right now.

I chose the one where death is awakening because it's close to a scenario I'm fond of. But mostly I believe we don't/can't know until we die, and maybe not even then.

I believe there's an afterlife. I'm not a Christian anymore so I don't believe that. I truly wish that there's nothing after this. The thought of having to do this again or suffer more makes my skin crawl.

I'm keeping an open mind. Quantum experiments and particles know they are being observed either we are in a simulation or do not know or cannot know everything. I think I will wake up in a life simulator like red dwarf epsiode, you got 3 points must be the worst score ever ☹️

I believe anything is possible. Instinct tells me that there's an afterlife. But who knows? I really just want to cease to exist though. Pain, pleasure, weird emotions, etc.. just won't cut it. I hate being alive. I hate existing. If a God made this world, they are either an idiot, evil, or better have a damn good reason for it.

The double slit experiment made me think a lot. But even that still doesn't prove anything sadly :(

Quantum entanglement as well. They might be something that we can't work out or can't know . Someone told me once each life is a lesson, I just think it's bad joke.

Yeah. I think that's how they knew that the past "choice" of a photon can be changed. They had a quantum entangled pair of photons, and had one hit the slit before the other one, then observed it afterwards. Because the second was observed after the first one would have been a wave, it suddenly acted as a particle. It's as if it decides to act as a particle after it should have been a wave.

It could also be that they know what we'll do before we do it, so it didn't act as a wave then reverse itself. You just never know dude.

Some believe this world is a lesson. They believe we're reincarnated to expand our conscious awareness. It's like going to school, for spirits.

I kind of want to cease to exist though, because there's no way to know if things would be better or worse. What about you?
