I don't believe in an afterlife but I constantly keep hope of its existence in my heart, and any god exists I hope will be a merciful one.

I'm an atheist and don't believe in any of the religious or spiritual stuff but living in a utopian/heaven-like afterlife would be pretty neat, not gonna lie

thats very interesting,i have never heard of a universalist before!
Yeah a universalist believes that we will all eventually be saved. And they tend to be very open minded spiritually.

Some of them believe in hell and some don't. Personally I believe hell exists but that it's not eternal.

Hmmm that's pretty interesting, especially the hell part..I like the fact that there are other versions of hell.
Thank you :)

Buddhist, myself.
Buddhism is a decent religion. My only thing I have against it is that in Buddhist countries if someone is born with a defect or a impediment they blame them even as a child saying they were a bad person in a previous life.

Yeah I'm not sure how I feel about reincarnation yet. Maybe one day I'll find out.

I believe in science in general. I believe in extrasolar life, but that no aliens visited us.
I don't believe in God (Who made god, if I needed a maker of the world?)
I don't believe in love.
I don't believe in reincarnation, afterlife, ghosts, magic, shamans, karma, free will, luck.

I'm an agnostic when it comes to the existence of a creator. I'm not very optimistic though, I believe we are just a hunk of flesh destined to rot and disappear forever.

Because it is a relation between what can you give and obtain, at last. It is a market where you try to obtain the same or better beauty/intelligence/things owned that you have, not a random spontaneous emotion, that seems magic.
I can't give nothing worth to maintain a relation and it's evident when people sees and knows me.

Born and raised christian catholic, but I have to say I ended up to hate abrahamic religions.
These religions have violent history, keep people separated and hate each other to the point of killing. Women are treated like shit especially nowadays with islam and judaism.

Sorry but there are so many things that are wrong with these religion, I have no interest whatsoever.

I like to think of life as like one of those very old TV sets.
The kind that when you turn it off the picture compressed in to an ever decreasing ball of light in like half a second leaving a small white dot for another half second before fading.
This came to me when I thought I was going to die laying on a couch after taking too many silly substances, I found it strangely comforting.
The song playing in the background was REMs Man on the Moon, it all seems rather cliché now.
I felt like shit for a really long time after that.

DL;DR:
life is like turning off am old school tv

Peace everyone

god/afterlife is more like a philosophy

you don't believe in it because you can prove it with science, you just believe in it as a philosophical concept, ina same way you believe in science itself

Nothing. Belief is naive by its very nature. All we have and can know is the here and now. I do think you have to do what's best for you and try to be the best person you can, within your capabilities. But then life has a way of beating you down anyway, despite any good intentions you may have.

Discordian?

Me.. I guess you could say I believe in science, but I'd say I assume for the sake of what remains of my sanity that the universe exists and is observable and our senses don't lie too much. I guess I believe that to some degree. Otherwise. Atheist. Antitheist. I guess I also believe that humanity is utterly fucked.

I belief Astral Projection and it's Plane is the afterlife.

Aliens species and civilizations exist just far out of our reach.

I may sound grim but I'm convinced that another manmade global disaster such as another world war, Great Depression or overpopulation will happen within a century from now.

CTBing is a human right.
